Current state of the site

Calc Omniverse uses Google AdSense to display advertising and fund the site. Calculations performed on the calculators, on the other hand, stay entirely in your browser: no value you enter into a calculator form is sent to a server.

Google AdSense may set cookies and use technical identifiers to serve ads, including, based on your consent, personalized ads based on your browsing. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent message (a Google-certified platform, compliant with IAB TCF v2.2 — "Funding Choices") is shown, letting you accept or decline just as easily either way: without your explicit consent, only non-personalized ads may be served. You can review or change your advertising privacy choices at any time at myadcenter.google.com, and read Google's policy on ad technologies.

What's going to change

The site plans to add, in a future step: saving your favorites and calculation history (first only in your browser's local storage — localStorage — with no account required), then an audience-measurement tool. These features will follow the same rule already applied to advertising: no measurement script will load before your explicit consent through the consent platform, and you'll always be able to decline just as easily as accept. This page will be updated accordingly, with details on the data processed and your rights.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data. For data processed by Google AdSense, this right is exercised directly with Google via myadcenter.google.com (viewing and deleting advertising data) or through the consent message itself (withdrawing your consent at any time). At this stage, Calc Omniverse doesn't collect any personal data beyond what Google processes on its own behalf as data controller for advertising — no user account, no database of the site's own stores your data for now.
